We are located in Silver Bay, Minnesota on the North Shore of Lake Superior in Minnesota, one of the top scenic areas in the United States.
Lake Superior is the largest freshwater lake in the world, and borders 3 states and 2 countries! The North Shore of Lake Superior is the westernmost shore of the lake which runs from Duluth to the Canadian Border.
The area is widely regarded as one of the top outdoor destinations in the United States. It is also known as one of the cleanest, and most beautiful areas to visit. Experience the rugged shoreline made up of cobblestones and cliffs. The surrounding Boreal forest boasts endless trees and wildlife.
Opportunities for outdoor adventure are easily accessible and include hiking, camping, kayaking, canoeing, and more. Explore the spectacular Superior Hiking Trail and nearby state parks, swim in rivers and waterfall basins, or explore the local Black Beach just outside of Silver Bay. Visit the Boreal forests of the Superior National Forest, the largest U.S. national forest east of the Mississippi. Experience the night sky and maybe see the Northern Lights or the Milky Way.
Weekly shuttles to the nearest major city of Duluth are available at no cost. They also serve major hiking destinations.
